Frequently asked questions

What is different about the Pro?

The mount. The standard Rev Gauge Shift Lights bolts to a Fanatec wheelbase and that is where it lives; the Pro has the ReMount system - two brass inserts in its underside, and the mount bolts into those with a pair of M4s. Change the mount and the same unit fits a different wheelbase, so the light survives the wheelbase upgrade instead of being replaced by it.

Which wheelbases does it fit?

Whichever you choose - one mount is included with the unit. MOZA covers the R3, R5, R9 and R12; Fanatec covers the CSL DD, GT DD Pro/Extreme, ClubSport DD/DD+, ClubSport V2 and V2.5, Podium DD1/DD2, CSL Elite and any other Fanatec wheel with the standardised peripheral mounting holes; Simucube covers the 2 Sport, 2 Pro and 2 Ultimate; Simagic covers the Alpha Mini, the Alpha and the Alpha Ultimate. The MOZA R16 and R21 are a different mounting face and are not covered, and neither is Simucube 3 - message me before ordering rather than assuming. You only pay for another mount if you change base later.

Can I change the mount later, or is it a one-time choice?

As often as you like - that is what the ReMount system is for - and you only buy the new mount, not another light. The bolts and the allen key come with the unit. The threads are brass heat-set inserts rather than screwing straight into plastic, which is the part that decides whether a fixing survives being undone and redone: plastic threads strip after a few goes, brass does not.

Is this device plug and play?

After setup, yes; Windows recognises the device when plugged in, and a free piece of software called SimHub runs in the background to send it live game data. You can watch a video tutorial or contact me for any assistance.

Does it come with a USB-C cable?

No. Please use a USB-C data transfer cable - a charging cable will not work.

Shift Lights Pro

Comes with the mount for your wheelbase, and the mount is a part you can change. That is the ReMount system: two M4 bolts and an allen key, both in the box, and the same unit moves from a MOZA to a Fanatec to a Simucube without buying it twice.
