Every game SimHub supports

Last updated · SimHub 9.11.22

SimHub supports 95 entries across racing, flight and other games — 77 racing, 12 flight sims and 6 others — though the true number of titles is higher because several entries cover ranges, with Codemasters F1 2012–2025 alone accounting for fourteen games. What matters more than the count is the footnote symbols: an entry with no marker gives full data, effects and motion; one asterisk means motion data is inaccurate and effects are limited; two means motion only; three means telemetry only, with no motion or haptics at all.

The official list exists, but its footnote semantics are easy to miss and they change what you can expect enormously. This page decodes them and keeps the entries verbatim.

The footnote symbols, decoded

Three symbols appear against some entries and nothing against most. They are the most important thing on the official page and the easiest thing to scroll past.

What each marker means
MarkerOfficial wordingWhat it means in practice
noneFull support. Data, effects and motion, subject to what the game actually sends.
*"telemetry does not provide accurate motion data. Effects are limited… and data might be missing for some of them"Dashboards work. Haptics are partial. Motion is unreliable.
**"Motion only."A motion rig will work. Dashboards and haptics will not have data to run on.
***"Telemetry only; motion or haptics are unavailable"You can build a dashboard. Nothing will move or shake.

SimHub's own caveat applies to every entry, marked or not. "Features support varies depending of the provided game telemetry, not all games can provide all the features (Data, effects, motion)." An unmarked game is not a promise that every effect works — it is a statement that the game is not known to be limited. What a specific game provides is ultimately down to the game.

How many games, honestly

SimHub markets broad game support and the official page lists entries rather than titles, which makes any single number slightly misleading. Counted from the page on 4 August 2026:

The number of actual games is considerably higher, because several entries are ranges. Codemasters F1 2012–2025 is one entry and fourteen games. Forza Horizon 4–6 is one entry and three. WRC 7/8/9, NASCAR Heat 4–5, Forza Motorsport 7–8 and Trackmania 2 series all work the same way. Expanded, the total comfortably clears a hundred.

The official list also lags the software. Titles appear in SimHub release notes before they appear on the website's list. If a game is missing here but you have seen it mentioned in a recent release, check the release notes — the software is usually ahead.

Flight telemetry is a different problem from racing telemetry. There is no tyre slip, no kerb, no gear-shift transient — the cues that most ShakeIt effects are built around simply do not exist. Set expectations accordingly: a flight sim will drive a dashboard well and a haptics profile designed for a racing car poorly.

The two MOBA and shooter entries surprise people. They are there for dashboards and LED output — health, ammo, round state — not for anything that moves. That is exactly what the three-asterisk marker is telling you.

The four ways SimHub gets telemetry

Knowing which mechanism a game uses tells you in advance what can go wrong with it, and it is the single most useful thing to understand before troubleshooting a specific title.

UDP broadcast
The game sends telemetry packets over the network. Used by the Forza titles, the Codemasters and F1 games, Project CARS and Gran Turismo. Only one application can receive a UDP stream — this is the leading cause of conflicts with CrewChief and other dash software, and the reason SimHub has UDP forwarding. It is also what makes console support possible at all.
Shared memory
The game exposes a memory-mapped structure that SimHub reads directly. Used by Assetto Corsa, ACC, iRacing and rFactor 2. Fast and reliable, with one trap: admin rights must match. A non-elevated SimHub cannot read an elevated game.
A SimHub-installed game plugin
SimHub installs a telemetry DLL into the game itself. Used by Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator, and x64 only. If the plugin is not installed, there is no data at all.
Process memory reading
SimHub reads the game's memory using a pointer map. Used by Elite Dangerous. The fragile one: the pointer map breaks with every game update until the XML is refreshed by the community member who maintains it.

The games index covers each mechanism in more depth, and the per-game pages cover the specific setup for the titles most people use.

Common questions

How many games does SimHub support?

The official page lists 95 entries — 77 racing, 12 flight and 6 others. The number of actual titles is higher, because several entries cover ranges: Codemasters F1 2012–2025 is one entry and fourteen games, and Forza Horizon 4–6, WRC 7/8/9, NASCAR Heat 4–5 and Forza Motorsport 7–8 work the same way.

What do the asterisks mean on SimHub's supported games list?

One asterisk means the telemetry does not provide accurate motion data and effects are limited. Two means motion only. Three means telemetry only, with no motion or haptics available. No marker means full support, subject to what the game itself provides.

My game is supported but half the effects do nothing. Why?

Because effects need telemetry the game may not send. SimHub states plainly that feature support varies with what each game provides, and being on the list means the game is not known to be limited — not that every value exists. It is not a misconfiguration.

Does SimHub work with console games?

For games that broadcast telemetry over UDP, yes — Gran Turismo 7 on PS4 and PS5, the F1 series, and Forza Horizon on Xbox. SimHub still runs on a Windows PC and receives the stream over your network. Shared-memory games are PC only by definition.

Is my game supported if it isn't on the list?

Check the SimHub release notes before concluding it is not. Titles appear in releases before the website's list is updated, so the software is often ahead of the page.

Why is Counter Strike 2 on a sim racing tool's supported list?

For dashboards and LED output — health, ammo, round state. It carries the three-asterisk marker, which means telemetry only: nothing will move or shake. It is there for people who want a status display, not haptics.

Which games work best with bass shakers?

The unmarked racing titles with rich telemetry — Assetto Corsa, ACC, iRacing, rFactor 2, Automobilista 2, Le Mans Ultimate. Anything with an asterisk has limited effects by definition, and the two- and three-asterisk entries have no haptics at all.
