SimHub with Assetto Corsa EVO
Last updated · SimHub 9.11.22
Assetto Corsa EVO is on SimHub's supported games list as a shared-memory, PC-only title, in line with the rest of the Assetto Corsa family. That means nothing to enable inside the game and administrator rights needing to match between game and SimHub. Because it is a new title still in development, what telemetry it exposes can change between releases — so if something that worked stops, check SimHub's release notes before assuming your configuration is at fault.
This page is deliberately shorter than the others, because a new title is exactly where confident detail ages worst.
How it works
Shared memory, consistent with Assetto Corsa and Assetto Corsa Competizione. Listed as PC only, which follows from shared memory being a local mechanism.
No in-game telemetry setting to enable, and no contention with other applications — any number of readers can share the same memory region.
It is a separate entry from Assetto Corsa and ACC. Three games, three entries, three sets of settings in SimHub. Enabling one does not enable the others, which catches people who already had one of the family working.
Setting it up
Enable Assetto Corsa EVO in SimHub
Tick it specifically — it is its own entry.
Match administrator rights
If the game or its launcher is elevated, SimHub must be too.
Drive, and check what actually populates
Worth doing deliberately on a new title: see which values arrive rather than assuming a dashboard built for another sim will fill.
What to expect from a title still in development
Check the release notes rather than trusting any page, including this one. A game in active development can change what it exposes between builds, and SimHub adds and adjusts support in response. If telemetry that worked stops working after an update to either, the release notes for both are a faster answer than reconfiguring anything.
- It is a separate SimHub entry from Assetto Corsa and ACC.
- Administrator rights, the usual silent failure for shared-memory games.
- Dashboards built for other sims may show gaps, and that is about what the game currently provides rather than about the dashboard.
- Support level is worth re-checking on each release — this is a title where the honest answer changes.
A note on setting expectations
The rest of the Assetto Corsa family provides rich telemetry and is excellent for haptics, and it is reasonable to expect EVO to arrive in the same place. What is not reasonable is for us to describe in detail what works today as though it will be true next month.
The practical approach with any new title: set up the basics — speed, gear, RPM, a rev bar — confirm they work, and add effects incrementally, testing each. That is good practice anywhere and it is necessary here.
The test data editor is particularly useful on a new title, because it lets you check whether an effect responds at all without needing to reproduce the conditions in-game.
Common questions
Does SimHub support Assetto Corsa EVO?
Yes — it is on the official supported games list as a PC-only title using shared memory, consistent with the rest of the Assetto Corsa family. Because it is still in development, check SimHub's release notes for the current support level rather than assuming.
Do I need to enable telemetry in Assetto Corsa EVO?
No. Shared-memory games publish telemetry whenever they run, with no in-game setting. Ticking the game in SimHub's list is the only step.
I have Assetto Corsa working — is EVO covered?
No. Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione and Assetto Corsa EVO are three separate entries in SimHub with three separate sets of settings. Enable EVO specifically.
Why does my dashboard show gaps in Assetto Corsa EVO?
Most likely because the game does not currently expose those values. On a title in active development that can change between builds — check the release notes for both the game and SimHub before reconfiguring anything.
Why does SimHub show nothing in Assetto Corsa EVO?
The usual shared-memory cause: administrator rights not matching. If the game or its launcher runs elevated, SimHub must too, and it fails with no error at all.
Should I build a full haptics profile for Assetto Corsa EVO now?
Build it incrementally. Set up speed, gear, RPM and a rev bar, confirm they work, then add effects one at a time and test each — the test data editor makes that quick. On a title still changing, that is more efficient than configuring everything and then debugging what did not populate.
